  1. Yes, this is a rant thread. Can't you tell by my use of capital letters? It's to my understanding that since the server was brought back up, the auto-rebel rule was removed and is no longer being enforced... What a mistake that was. For those who don't know, auto rebelling is when you rebel for 3 or more rounds in a row without intending to stop. This was against the rules on jailbreak for the longest time, and in my opinion, should still be against the rules. Why you may ask? Simple: It's annoying as shit. I get it. People like to rebel... It's fun, and if you have blood money, you just rack up the points. However, the fact of the matter is this: Not everybody wants to rebel every single round. Some people actually want to have a fun day without having the warden killed within the first twenty seconds by a prisoner who bought an AWP in their cell. Another huge downside to auto-rebelling is that people literally do it just to troll. The other night, there were two prisoners who would just CONSTANTLY rebel, and when they did, they would go straight down to where the music room is and play annoying music, despite everyone's protest and pleas for them to stop. They kept doing it over and over, and even though one guard was able to kill one of the prisoners, the other prisoner would run off and do it once the guard returned, so it was just a constant barrage of people spamming the music and annoying everybody else. I contemplated RDMing them every time the cell doors opened to stop them, but that would get me punished and would only allow them to do it more, so in the end, nothing was done virtually. i've heard some counter arguments to this, and i'll be addressing them here: "LOL it's Jailbreak... The point of the game is to rebel" Cool. Guess what: The point of the game is also to follow the warden's rules and obey, which many players also enjoy doing. Not going to lie, I enjoy it when people rebel... Sometimes the warden is just cancerous and giving out awful orders, and they deserve to die. For that, I have no problem. What I DO have a problem with is the same people rebelling over and over and over again, to the point where no warden is able to do anything at all. The last few days alone, there have been 9 separate incidents where people were rebelling so much, that nobody wanted to go warden anymore. People would literally flat out refuse to go warden, and I was one of them. It isn't fun when you're getting killed over and over again trying to do a day you really want to do, or to finally get the warden position after trying to get it for so long, only to be instantly sniped by a prisoner with an AWP. "LMAO, just get better guards" This is by far the most idiotic counter argument I've ever heard, and it honestly rustles my jimmies every time someone says it. For every one guard, there's at least two to three prisoners, provided that all the guard slots are even filled. This, combined with the fact that a lot of prisoners who rebel often do so in a stack, and since rules forbid guards from shooting into a stack to prevent RDM, the prisoner is essentially able to pick the guards off one by one whilst running through other prisoners. You're not allowed to camp KOS areas or vents, though prisoners can, and you can't kill anybody with a gun based off their playermodel. On top of all this, there's the plight I already mentioned of getting shot when you instantly leave the armory by a prisoner who was able to spawn a sniper from the pointshop. There are so many rules that handcuff the guard's ability to do something about a mass rebel or prevent one. Thus, saying "just get better guards" is an incredibly moot point. Just don't rebel every round, that works too. "LMAO, just be a good warden" Again, this is another idiotic counter argument. For some prisoners, mostly ones who are staff members, they rebel just for the sake of rebelling. The warden could be cool, calm and collected, and these people will STILL rebel. If the warden is a kid, they rebel. If the warden has a not so great mic, they rebel. If the warden has an excellent mic, they rebel. If the warden has a certain STEAM picture, they rebel. No matter what circumstances there are, they will just constantly rebel. So again, a completely moot point. Normally, after a certain amount of rounds without an LR, there should be a "no-rebel day", which does still very much exist. The problem is: From what I've seen lately, the auto-rebellers are the highest ranked staff online, and they too usually reply with one of the aforementioned counter arguments. The real terror is when there are no staff on, like the other day... 21 rounds straight without LR. Nobody wanted to be warden anymore, so it was a free day until staff came on and made it a no-rebel day. I can count on my hand over the last 5 days how many no-rebel days there have been, whereas the number of days without LR have been relentless. It's gotten to the point where I've had to literally exit my game and just go cool off because of how frustrating it is, both as a prisoner and as a guard... Especially as a guard. Bring it back, please.

whenever staff aren't on, it's utter chaos, and even when they are, because of the no auto-rebel rule they're usually the ones that rebel a shit ton and cause anarchy lmao

  4. grand total is how many people died
  5. So a lot of people ask me why, when I go warden, most of my trivia days focus solely on WW1... This post will explain why. On November 11th, 2018 at exactly 11:00 AM, one of the worst wars in the history of mankind ended 100 years ago, when the Central Powers finally surrendered after 4 long, bloody years. I'm speaking of course, about the First World War. Seeing as the majority of the members in this community are from the United States, I figure that not many of you know just how significant this war truly was... As well as how deadly it was. For this post, I will be listing off the total number of people killed in this war, by each respectable nation. Please note, that for the British Empire, I will include the total number of deaths as a whole empire, as well as independent statistics for some of those colonies that are now independent. Each "|" represents not 1, not 100, not 1000, but 10,000 people who died in the First World War. This list will be ordered from least deaths to most deaths. Starting with the Entente Powers/Allies of the Entente: Portugal: |||||||| / Total: 89,235 dead. U.S.A : ||||||||||| / Total: 117,446 dead. (Yes. In less than a year of fighting, the United States suffered this many dead. Let that sink in for a moment.) Greece: ||||||||||||||||| / Total: 176,000 dead. Romania: |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| / Total: 665,706 dead. Britain: |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| | / Total: 1,011,687 dead. Australia/New Zealand: |||||||| / Total: 80,209 dead. India: ||||||| / Total: 73,905 dead. Canada: |||||| / Total: 66,996 dead. British Empire: |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| (Whole) |||||||||||||||||||| / Total: 1,224,093 dead. Italy: |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| |||||||||||||||||||||||| / Total: 1,243,300 dead. Serbia: |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| |||||||||||||||||||||||||| / Total: 1,263,325 dead. France: |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| / Total: 1,737,800 dead. Russia: |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| / Total: 3,394,369 dead. Entente: |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| |||||||| / Total: 10,080,391 dead. Now, for the Central Powers/Allies of Central Powers: Bulgaria: |||||||||||||||||| / Total: 187,500 dead. Austria-Hungary: |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| |||||||| / Total: 2,081,200 dead. Germany: |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| / Total: 2,800,720 dead. Ottoman Empire: |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||| / Total: 3,271,844 dead. Central Powers: |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| Total: 8,341,264 dead. GRAND TOTAL: |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| ||||||||||||||||| / Total: 19,174,335 dead. Now, those of you might be wondering... Why bother posting this? The simple answer is, many Americans just don't know about this war. How many big Hollywood blockbuster World War II films are there? Well, you got Hacksaw Ridge, Fury, Unbroken, Schindler's List, Saving Private Ryan, Patton, Enemy At the Gates... just to name a few. All good movies, don't get me wrong... But how many big Hollywood blockbuster World War I films are there? That's right: None. Zero. Though this war is ultimately what led up to World War II, it seems nobody knows anything about it. This is the war that essentially brought an end to monarchies. This is the war where new war materials that are commonly known and used today were first used on a massive scale: Machine guns, tanks, airplanes, zeppelins, chlorine gas, flame throwers, howitzer artillery, bolt action-rifles, dreadnoughts, bombs, just to name a few. Most importantly, this is the war that made humanity as a whole realize just how traumatic wars truly are for not only those who fight them, but those who live through them. It is also a result of this war that being clean shaven became a notable trend that people still follow to this day. Of course Dice finally released a game on WWI, namely Battlefield I, but that game does little justice for historical accuracy... I don't think I need to go into much detail considering one of the locked German classes in multiplayer is a black soldier on the Western Front... yeah. No. That didn't happen. I also don't need to go into detail about how both France and the Russian Empire weren't even included during the launch, when they were literally the first ones to enter the war. This is why I do WW1 trivia days on Jailbreak... I want to teach people, specifically Americans, about this conflict. People need to know about the sacrifices these men made so as to try and keep the peace. Obviously that didn't happen, but we still need to remember these people. okay i'm done, have fun.
